Meet the Staff
Jim studied real estate at the University of Memphis on a football scholarship in the 1970s. He became a Realtor while still in college. As he gained experience in the Memphis real estate business, he recognized the need for quality rental properties and, along with his wife, Debi, formed Reedy and Company in 1978. Jim he has become an expert in selecting the best properties in safe neighborhoods that are sold to U.S. and foreign owners. He is committed to offering the highest quality rental properties.
Chief Operations Officer, Co-Founder
Debi studied advertising at the University of Memphis where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She co-founded Reedy & Company with her husband, Jim in 1978. Debi is the Principal Real Estate Broker for Reedy & Company. She works closely with all members of the team at Reedy & Company to ensure that all tenant accounts are properly maintained. She also oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the business.
Acquisitions and Sales
Brad attended The University of Tennessee, Knoxville on an academic scholarship and received degrees in Finance and Economics. He has worked doing various jobs with the family business since he was 10 years old. Brad works in all aspects of the business, and specializes in sales and acquisitions. He assists all local and foreign investors, as well as helps the company with day-to-day operations.
Jay Reedy graduated from the University of Memphis, where he majored in Spanish, and minored in Accounting. He has studied International Business and worked in Argentina for a year before coming back to the U.S. to join the family business. His fluency in Spanish allows Reedy & Company to serve the Memphis Hispanic Community. Jay assists Latino tenants with selecting rental homes, completing their leases, and managing their Memphis Rental Homes.
Tracy joined Reedy & Company 2005. Originally from Jackson, Tenn., Tracy came to Memphis to attend the University of Memphis, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication. Tracy is in charge of all bookkeeping and accounting operations and deals with US and foreign Accountants.
Director of Client Services
Adrienne has been with Reedy & Company since February 2007. She has more than 10 years of experience in real estate management. Adrienne is responsible for all correspondences between Reedy & Company and property investors, and also assists all national and foreign investors with setting up U.S. bank accounts and completing all necessary tax documents required by the IRS. Adrienne works very closely on a daily basis with our Atlanta management team in servicing our Atlanta investors.
Information Technology Coordinator
Cory joined Reedy & Company in October of 2010. Cory earned his MSBA in Management Information Systems and his BA in Journalism, both from the University Of Memphis. He prepares weekly payroll and ensures all accounts payable records are current and accurate.
Shaun joined Reedy & Company in August 2009. She began studies in the medical field and decided that work in Real Estate/Property Management was best suited for her. She is responsible for rental leasing, customer service and tenant correspondence.
Christina joined Reedy & Company in March 2008. She came to Memphis from Denver, Co where she attended Denver Business College and has over 20 years in Customer service. Christina oversees all leasing activities and handles collections. She also works closely with the Section 8 program to ensure that all payments are received correctly and in a timely manner and handles any Section 8 issues tenants may have.
Katrina worked as a Realtor for 8 years and also has worked in property management for several years. She works for Reedy & Company as an outside agent. Katrina deals with prospective tenants to answer questions, address concerns, and help with the execution of leases.
Rachel joined Reedy & Company in June 2010. Rachel came to Memphis from San Bernadino, CA where she worked in the property management field for many years. She works hand in hand with perspective tenants to assist them in finding them a home to fit their budget and meet their needs. She also assists with processing Section 8 payments, collections and billing.
Compliance/ Collections Agent
Stacy joined Reedy and Company in February 2011. Stacy comes to Reedy and Company with over 14 years of experience in property management. Stacy is responsible for handling the renewal program that ensures residents are notified of lease expirations and signing new leases with current tenants. Stacy also represents the company in court proceedings.
Business Development Manager
Deon joined Memphis Investment Properties in February 2012. His role as Business Development Manager is to develop, manage and grow further channels within the Australian and New Zealand markets where he has over 20 years of experience in the sale and marketing of investment property. Deon is a Certified Financial Advisor (Australia) and holds a full Australian Real Estate License. He completed his higher education with a Master of Business Administration majoring in General Management.
Chelsea Dunning is a native Memphian who attended Christian Brothers University and majored in Biology. Chelsea has a background in the food industry and decided to come on board with Reedy & Company. She joined Reedy & Company in January 2013. Chelsea is part of our accounting team and handles accounts receivable and data processing for all new tenants. As well as maintaining data for all reports that are a key part of our day to day business
Emily joined Reedy and Company in April 2013. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 2011 with a Psychology degree. She participated in University of Memphis's Study Abroad program and studied in Australia and Ireland. She has spent many years in customer service and is now a Leasing Agent. She assists future tenants with finding the right home as well as assists with the marketing aspect at Reedy and Company.
BLT Homes Division
Originally from the rural suburbs of St. Louis, Holly came to Memphis in 2005 to study business & art. After graduating in 2009 with a BA in Studio Art from Rhodes College, she promptly began work in the customer service industry as well as freelance photography. Holly started with Reedy and Company in January of 2013 and currently processes the monthly rental payments for the accounting department.
Sharbie is a new member of Reedy and Company as of April 2013. She comes from a background of 8 years of corporate sales. She is currently completing her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with the University of Phoenix. Sharbie is an inside leasing agent with Reedy and Company where she enjoys helping others finding a property that they can call home.
BLT Accounts Payable Coordinator/Bookkeeper
Kendall Karcher happily became a part of the Reedy and Company team in August of 2012. He is an alumnus of Rhodes College, where he graduated with a degree in English Literature and a minor in Theatre. He has studied at Oxford University and even taught English in Daegu, South Korea before bringing his skills in the construction, finance, and IT industries to Reedy and Company. He also is an Ostrander Award-winning actor, appearing on stage and screen. Kendall is Bookkeeper and head of Accounts Payable for our partners at Building, Land and Technology.
